The basic structural restoration work on the centre section was carried out by (the late) Colin Denholm and staff at AvSpecs Rotorua in 1995-96.

Due to a crack being discovered in the outboard u/c mount, a superb replacement unit was CNC machined for us by Classic Aero Machining Service. The old cast unit is shown on the right. (October 2008) Comparison of original and upgraded retract drive gearboxes
